This is a dedicated Sky Rover Reference Series 0.8X Focal Reducer/ Flattener & 1.0X Flattener specifically designed for use with a Sky Rover Reference Series 150 telescope.
This is designed for serious Astroimaging.
This unit is custom engineered & optically optimised for use on the Sky Rover Reference Series 150, it is unsuitable for any other telescope.
There are two options:
* 0.8X Reducer Flattener
* 1.0X Flattener

EVERY Sky Rover telescope has a DEDICATED design Reducer Flattener – as we are firm in our attitude that every Reducer Flattener & Flattener has a dedicated design, and is unsuitable to be applied to more than one specifically designed telescope’s optic – the only way to do this properly.
This is a 70mm diameter 4 piece FPL53 ED Glass full metal construction unit using premier quality Japanese FPL53 ED Glass. It screws directly to the Sky Rover focuser at one end, and to a 48mm Canon or Nikon T Mount at the other, or via it’s 48mm male thread direct to your CMOS Imaging train.
Imaging Circle Diameter with Reducer Flattener fitted is 42mm and Backfocus distance from the end of the thread of the 48mm connection is 54.8mm.
This exceptional custom engineered premier quality accessory reduces the telescope’s focal length by a factor of 0.8X (or 1.0X in the Flattener) enabling a major increase in speed and also full field-edge correction and an a major increase in optical speed thereby shorter duration images proving the improvement in Signal to Noise performance that every astroimager seeks.
Use in conjunction with an Astronomy Alive 48mm thread Canon or Nikon T Mount to direct connect to your Canon or Nikon DSLR.
