Yosco 101mm 1600mm Premium Japanese refractor telescope

Well you’ve just come across a gem, a Yosco 101mm 1600mm
This is a telescope from the 1980’s. It is a beautiful unit
Specifications:
* Aperture 101mm
* Focal length 1600mm
* Dovetail – upgraded to Skywatcher
* Finderscope – upgraded to Vixen 50mm
* Diagonal – upgraded to Vernonscope 2 inch Dielectric
I have only ever seen one of these telescopes, this one. This unit was purchased in the USA when the original owner lived in San Francisco for many years. It came to Australia when he moved here in the early 2000’s
It has been upgraded as follows:
1. Skywatcher dovetail enabling direct connection to all standard Saxon, Skywatcher, Celestron & Meade equatorial mounts (recommended is a HEq5 Pro or NEq6)
2. Upgraded rear end from standard 1.25 inch diagonal to premium 2 inch diagonal
3. Upgraded to 50mm Vixen finderscope (made by the same people that made the finderscopes for both Yosco & Vixen, plus also made both these telescopes as well)
It has the same performance as a Unitron 100mm, that’s if you could find one
